My stay at Cantinho Rural was absolutely delightful. The cozy cottage provided a peaceful retreat nestled in the mountains, with an abundance of fresh air and beautiful scenery. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed for cooking, including tea, coffee, and spices. I also appreciated the added touch of complimentary milk. Despite being remote, the location was still close to amenities and the island's attractions, making day trips a breeze. The friendly locals and nearby grocery store, Casais de Vila, made the experience even more enjoyable. The cottage itself was clean and spacious, and I particularly loved the sunny balcony overlooking the valley. The use of the laundry facilities was a great convenience, especially on those rainy and muddy days. I highly recommend Cantinho Rural for a serene and memorable getaway.

While my stay was mostly wonderful, there were a few minor drawbacks. The shower could use a better hook and head that stay in position, and it was easy to accidentally hit the tap and get a sudden burst of hot or cold water.

Lovely sunny spot in the mountains with fresh air. Surprisingly spacious cottage with comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, and nice grocery store nearby. Good wifi and beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay.

The cozy fireplace in our holiday home was like a beacon of warmth and comfort, enticing us to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa. It created the perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening in, making us feel as snug as a bug in a rug.

The room was cozy and had a homey vibe, making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I loved having a TV with Portuguese channels, so I could chill and watch some local shows. The kitchenette was a bonus, allowing me to cook my own meals and save some money.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the dining area. It felt a bit cramped and didn't have much space to move around.

I keep coming back to this place because it has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, laundry. The staff even helped me find parking on my first stay. Can't wait to return for another trip!

Lina was incredibly helpful with detailed instructions for our late arrival. the cottage was spacious with a comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, and fresh flowers and fruits. the location in the mountains offered fresh air and sunshine while being close to amenities. Delicious roast goat at Katespero restaurant. Perfect for day trips around the island. Our dog enjoyed it too.
